Various sources have tried to place time limits on to these zones, but none have been officially adopted. The most common values used are: Zone 0: Explosive atmosphere for more than 1000h/yr Zone 1: Explosive atmosphere for more than 10, but less than 1000 h/yr Zone 2: Explosive atmosphere for less than 10h/yr, but still sufficiently likely as to require controls over ignition sources.       Tronsoft is a supplier of MTL zener barriers and signal isolators (MTL5500 series, MTL7700 series) etc. Along with many other products like surge protection devices, Electromagnetic flow meters from reputed brands like Krohne Marshall, Eureka , EnH etc Check our Intrinsically safe productline here: https://www.tronsoft.co.in/intrinsic-safety.htm  Electromagnetic flowmeters http://www.tronsoft.co.in/blog/electromagnetic-flowmeters_14430.htm Fri, 03 Mar 2023 16:27:55 +0530 Electromagnetic flowmeters are a popular type of flowmeter used in a variety of industries to measure the flow rate of conductive fluids. They operate based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, which states that a voltage will be induced in a conductor when it is moved through a magnetic field. In an electromagnetic flowmeter, a magnetic field is generated by two coils located outside of a non-conductive pipe. When a conductive fluid flows through the pipe, it creates a voltage across electrodes located within the pipe. This voltage is proportional to the velocity of the fluid, and the flow rate can be calculated based on the cross-sectional area of the pipe. One of the main advantages of electromagnetic flowmeters is that they are highly accurate and can be used to measure both clean and dirty fluids, including those containing suspended solids. They also have no moving parts, which reduces maintenance and increases their reliability. However, electromagnetic flowmeters are not suitable for all applications. They can only be used to measure conductive fluids, which limits their use in some industries. Additionally, they can be affected by changes in fluid conductivity, temperature, and pressure, which can affect their accuracy. In summary, electromagnetic flowmeters are a popular type of flowmeter used in a variety of industries to measure the flow rate of conductive fluids. They offer high accuracy and reliability, but their use is limited to conductive fluids, and they can be affected by changes in fluid properties. At Tronsoft, we deal in various flowmeters. Many of our customers know us as supplier of Forbes Marshall (Krohne Marshall) flowmeters, Eureka Industrial equipments, Rockseonsor, Yokogawa and Siemens electromagnetic flowmeters.
